Work on the new Lerwick Fishmarket at Mair’s Pier is now well underway with the frame starting to go up. It is expected that the building will be ready in early 2020.

The owners of the Ocean Way LK207 which sank last year have signed a deal to build a new vessel due to arrive in Summer 2020. The ‘Ocean Challenge’ will be built in Ireland. The vessel will be 28.5m long.
